Location: 4508 Main Street - Fullbright Park
The Central WA Ag Museum grounds are currently open for walking from dawn to dusk! (Buildings closed until TBD)
The Central WA Ag Museum is located within Fullbright Park of Union Gap, Washington, at the base of Ahtanum Ridge. It's park like surroundings are home to multitudes of horse drawn and early mechanical farm machinery and equipment, farmsteads, the Magness Room displaying over 3,000 antique hand tools, the steam engine used to power the Old Naches sawmill, a collection of bells from the valley schools, a working sawmill, blacksmith shop, apple packing line and the home of the Lindeman Tractor. All of this and more are combined to create this one of a kind Agricultural Museum, and the largest historical museum in motion in the Pacific Northwest.
Educational Field Trips are available at the Central WA Ag Museum - please call for details.
Volunteer Tuesdays
Do you have a love for history, agriculture or museums? Then the Central WA Ag Museum is the place for you on Tuesdays! All kinds of skills are welcome from restoring and repairing skills, welding, painting, helping with field trips and events to general cleaning and maintenance - even driving the kiddie train or people trams! Got the gift of gab? You'd be a huge help at the exhibits during events and field trips! Maybe you have great mechanical knowledge that is valuable! Stop by any Tuesday and see what's going on and what might interest you. It's a great group of people who have a passion for keeping history alive! Coffee and snacks in the break room at 10AM is a good place to start! Turn into Fullbright Park and follow the road all the way to the entrance of the Ag Museum and head into the visitor's center.
