ASPARAGUS MANIA STARTS IN UNION GAP
Fresh asparagus season is starting in the Yakima Valley and Union Gap is THE PLACE to head for your asparagus fix. It starts with the James Beard Foundation award winning Los Hernandez Tamales Asparagus & Pepperjack Cheese Tamales. Fruit City is opening sometime the week after Easter and that’s where you head for the freshest produce. Plus Old Town Pump will have grilled asparagus, Major’s has their annual melt-in-your-mouth battered asparagus, Kim’s Got Smoke will have their fresh smoked asparagus and Sea Galley prepares it the way you like it!

April 15th weekend is the official start of the 2022 Spring Barrel Tasting events. The event is this weekend and also April 22-24. Select wineries in Yakima, Wapato, Zillah, Prosser and Benton City are participating. Join Yakima Valley wineries as they celebrate the spring! Our own Valley Mall is the place to be to see the Easter Bunny from April 14-16. It’s time to travel down the rabbit hole and join Easter Bunny in their magical Wonderland Garden until April 16th. The Wonderland Garden is located in the all new Center Court near Kohl’s. Friday and Saturday from 11am-7pm
